Introduction

I'm probably best known as one of the two authors of the O'Reilly Tomcat book. I've been learning and using Java since 1995 (Java 1.0 alpha), and have been programming mostly daily since 1981. I'm currently Software Architect at spigit.com.

What Jason Brittain is saying about this Meetup Group

As part of your job as a Java developer / architect, you have to make decisions based on what you know about the current state of open source and proprietary Java components that you could/should be using. This meetup group can keep you informed, and keep your experience more recent.
